Today's Friday Sermon, Huzoor talked about the prophecy of the Promised Reformer revealed to Promised Messiah (On whom be Peace). Prophecy is a divinely inspired revelation, telling that a particular event will occur in future in truth and reality.
Prophecy of the Promised Reformer was disclosed to the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) at a time when he supplicated to Allah, for forty days in solitude, asking signs for the defense of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).
God revealed him with prophecy of the birth of ' A pure son, who will be extremely intelligent ,understanding ,humble and filled with knowledge of God '. This ‘promised son’ was born on 12th January 1889 and was named Mirza Bashir ud din Mahmood Ahmad.
On 20th Feb 1886, promised messiah (on whom be peace) revealed this prophecy to the public. Huzur said we commemorate the fulfillment of this on 20th February each year as ‘Musleh Maud Day’. The 'Musleh Maud day' is not the date of his birth or his death.
Huzur said we remember this, in order to revive our faith and remind us of our responsibilities and establish truth of Islam in the world. May Allah help us to do so. Ameen.
